The replacement cycle of belts and pulleys can be changed according to the requirements of the maintenance manual. If the car is driven less, the load is not heavy and the road conditions are good, it can be extended appropriately.
The accessory belt can be inspected to roughly determine whether its life is extended. Many cracks or large burrs indicate that its life is extended. By visual inspection, the timing belt may be inaccurate.
